How does the
system work?
There are two elements to the system:
- Webmasters fill in an online
questionnaire describing the contents of their website simply
in terms of what is and is not present. The system then generates
a label (a meta-tag) for the webmaster to attach to the website
(self-labelling).
- Parents install
an ICRA filter which gives permission to view a website
based on the information declared by the website and parent's
predefined preferences.
