Film search

Search Tips

  •
When choosing keywords, it is advised to:-
  •
try more specific words instead of common ones,
  •
avoid using too general words such as "the" and "a", and
  •
make sure your keyword spelling is correct.
  •
It is not necessary to type the full name of the film or director. The Film Search matches the keyword entered with the front part of a word in the database. For example, searching for "part" will yield "part", "party", "parts" and "partition" if they exist in the database.
  •
The Film Search only returns web pages that contain ALL the words or their variations in your query. There is no need to include "and" between terms.
  •
You may ignore any punctuation marks in your query.
  •
Film Search is NOT case sensitive.
  •
The Search will ignore some of the terms such as a single English character, some prepositions and some very common words. These terms may bring out too many matching records instead of helping to narrow down the scope.
  •
If the Film Search returns too many records with your query, you may do another search by adding more words to narrow down the scope of records.
