The Sub-Division consists of two sections, namely Licence Administration Section 1 and Licence Administration Section 2. The Licence Administration Sub-Division is responsible for:

	Administering the television and sound broadcasting licences;
	Assisting the Broadcasting Authority in making recommendations to the Chief Executive in Council on applications for domestic free television programme services and domestic pay television programme service licences;
	Processing applications for non-domestic television programme service and other licensable television programme service licences;
	Conducting reviews of all television and radio broadcasting licences, and
	Assisting the Communications and Technology Branch in the review of the broadcasting regulatory regime.
